How to choose a good ethics essay topic
There are many essays types that you may encounter during your academic years and they all require the same basic rules and guidelines when it comes to grammar such; however, each essay type will have unique requirements that will need to be met. Compare and Contrast
On this essay, you will focus on similarities and differences that exist between the two items or objects you are discussing. You will need to have a topic that has two aspects to it that can be compared on similarities or contrasted on differences. Remember that there has to be at least two opposing things you are either going to compare of contrast in order for this essay type to work.
Persuasive or Argument
This essay type is on where you take a stand and argue either in favor of or against something. You want to give your reader information so they understand your topic, but you want them to ultimately come around to your way of thinking. Ethical topics for this essay type include taxes, politics, family issues, education, and welfare. Remember that you want to inform and persuade your reader but you must rely on facts and evidence, not personal beliefs or emotional appeals.
This is essay is the one most students will write as their first assignment. You are most often asked to describe a place, thing or a person that has had an impact on your life. You want to use the senses and also make sure there is a clear connection between you and the topic of your essay. Common focus points of the essay include family members, friends, teachers, vacation spots, lessons learned, struggles, losses, and personal stories. Remember to be descriptive but to also make sure your topic ties back to you and your unique journey in life.
